If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email hello@theeverydayweightloss.com, or write to Bam MK Ltd. East Hall Farm, East Hall Lane, Wennington, Rainham, United Kingdom.

What we collect, and why

  • Your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it, when you sign up for the free 31-Day Kickstart, the book waitlist, or the weekly email. We use it to send you the emails you asked for: the daily tips, the weekly email, and news, updates and occasional offers relating to Everyday Weight Loss — including our books, the podcast, videos, workbooks and journals, and other products and services we think you will find useful. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you sign up and can withdraw at any time.
  • Which form or link you signed up through (for example the website, the book page, or a social link), so we can understand where readers find us.
  • Basic email engagement information — such as whether an email was opened or a link clicked — which our email platform records automatically. We use this to see what is useful and what is not, and to avoid emailing people who no longer want to hear from us.
  • If you buy one of our products, such as The 31-Day Kickstart Companion Journal & Toolkit, we receive your email address and a record of what you bought, so that we can deliver the file, support it, and tell you about closely related products. You can unsubscribe at any time. We never see or store your card details.
  • Information collected by Google reCAPTCHA when you submit a signup form, which protects our forms from automated abuse. See “Spam protection” below.

What we never do

  • We never sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their marketing.
  • We never send you emails you have not asked for, and every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
  • We never knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Our content is intended for adults.

Who processes your data for us

  • MailerLite stores subscriber details and sends our emails on our behalf. Their own privacy policy applies to their processing: mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Purchases and payment. Our digital products are sold through MailerLite, and payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/gb/privacy
  • Spam protection. Google reCAPTCHA protects our signup forms — see the next section.
  • Website hosting. Hostinger hosts the website and our email inboxes.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK and EEA. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK’s data bridge or standard contractual clauses.

Spam protection

Our signup forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated and fraudulent signups. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device, your browser and your behaviour on the page, and sends it to Google for analysis. We use it only to tell real visitors apart from automated bots, and for no other purpose. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms).

Cookies and website analytics

This site uses only the essential cookies needed for it to work, including those set by our signup forms and by reCAPTCHA. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not currently run any website analytics.

How long we keep your data

For as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, our email platform suppresses your address so that we do not email you again, and we periodically delete inactive and unsubscribed records. Records of purchases are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us: what data we hold about you; to correct it; to delete it; to stop using it; or to send you a copy. Email hello@theeverydayweightloss.com and we will sort it — usually within a few days, and always within a month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

One honest note

The emails and the book share what worked for one person, plus what he learned studying it afterwards. They are not medical advice — for anything about your own health, talk to your GP.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be mentioned in the weekly email.
